ABOUT THE ROLE
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Director, Finance to our team in Dundalk, Ireland.
Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, the Sr. Director, Finance will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting activities and effective financial operation of the commercial finance function for our global critical power business.
What a typical day looks like:
Manage the commercial finance function including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Manage the financial forecasting efforts, ensuring accuracy, alignment with business goals, and timely updates to support decision making across the business
Manage preparation of quarterly financial reporting package for leadership review
Present financial performance and strategic insights in clear, concise and actionable formats
Work closely with sales, procurement and other departments to verify and approve pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness and margin optimization
Develop and establish financial reporting requirements
Support external auditors in their examination of quarterly and year-end financial statements
Ensure monthly informative account analysis and reconciliations are performed
Coach and mentor financial professionals in organization
Be abreast of industry trends and apply to business model as appropriate
Analyze market practice to benchmark current systems and controls to verify systems and process integrity in order to enhance the Company's value
Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, developing action plans as needed
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Relevant BSc/MSc degree along with additional credentials (CPA, CFP, CMA, CA or similar)
Strong background in finance (typically 10+ years), ideally within a manufacturing environment
Experience with implementing and utilising ERP systems is highly desirable
Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting
Experience in and understanding of US GAAP and international finance
Solid leadership / management skills with demonstrable finance management experience
Possess strong Excel skills, demonstrable experience using Excel extensively
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Eligible to work in Ireland
