Responsibilities...
- Responsible for creating and managing project schedules, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure completion of project in a timely manner capturing any variations etc.
- Recommend modifications to improve effectiveness and achieve project milestones.
- Prepare short- and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from key stakeholders.
- Regular site walks to assist site teams with planning matters.
- Identify potential risks, deviations that can hinder project schedule, resulting in delays with significant costs and penalties and corrective actions.
- Gather data incorporating any changes in work scope, update schedule and develop reliable schedule forecast with support from project team.
- Provide regular progress reports to all site teams and highlight concerns, develop mitigating measures to avoid delays.
- Host progress planning meetings with internal and external teams to re-calibrate plans in line with progress
The Person...
- 3rd level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical preferable but not essential
- Experience in scheduling large, complex industrial, capital improvement projects managing teams of schedulers
- Experience working on Data centre projects
- Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Planning software including Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning software
- Ability to communicate at high level and represent the company in client and contractor meetings
