ABOUT THE ROLE

 

g has openings for experienced Package Managers to join our growing team in Finland. This role will be based on site, operating on a 3/1 rotation.

 

 

The Role...

As a Package Manager you will oversee the completion of the project cable installation package on a large-scale development with an expected duration of 2 years. The role is suited to an experienced leader who has the capabilities to ensure that the project is executed and delivered to a high standard.

Our expertise spans industry sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, critical infrastructure, and more.

 

Responsibilities...

  • Delivering high standard MV / LV packages to the clients
  • Delegate responsibilities and individual projects to relevant crew members
  • Work daily under pressure to very tight deadlines which will include supervising cable pulling and setting up cable pull routes
  • Instruct crew members in proper work methods and standards
  • Monitor and report project status regularly, keeping it on schedule and within budget
  • Monitor and manage time and attendance of all crews, conduct return to work interviews
  • Resolve conflicts or miscommunications that may happen on-site quickly and amicably
  • Performance management, dealing with non-compliance, conflict – ability to negotiate positive outcomes
  • Always promote safe working conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace practices and operating procedures specific to the task.
  • Enforce safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment including training on safety gear.
  • Communicate to the team, the strict Company Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements on a daily basis to guarantee compliance.
  • Oversee quality standards on site.
  • Motivate staff, engage with individuals and teams.
  • Enforce Company policies, understand internal company policies and how they should be applied.
  • Employee engagement, interaction, training, upskilling, coaching & mentoring.
  • Any other duties as determined by Management.

The Person...

  • Confident managing site teams, with 5+ years of experience working on similar projects
  • Previous experience in Data Centres would be desirable but not essential
  • Professional working proficiency in written & oral English, minimum level C2
  • Permission to work and reside in the UK without restriction
  • Must be self-motivated, prepared to tackle any job
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to communicate with all stakeholders
  • Strong Health and Safety awareness with strict adherence to guidelines
